Role Playing Points and how they work

RP Points are a currency used on this site to purchase items from the individual RP Shops that will be granted to your character in game.

RP Points are accumulated in the following ways:

1. +5 RP Points per day for registered users from the day of registration;
2. +10 RP Points per Topic created by registered users;
3. +5 RP points per relevant post throughout the forums;
4. +100 RP Points on the last day of each month;
5. +100 RP Points for attending scheduled game day sessions or Virtual RP sessions;
6. +1 RP Point for each positive reputation vote each of your posts receive; and
7. The DM will distribute RP Points at his discretion based on site activity, good Role Playing during sessions, and just because.

RP Points are lost/removed in the following ways:

1. Purchase of items from the RP Shop;
2. Donation of RP Points to other users;
3. Loss of RP Points due to inactivity on the site;
4. -1 RP Point for each negative reputation vote each of your posts receives;
5. -20 RP Points for posts that are clearly spam; and
6. Removal of RP Points due the breaking of any rules listed under The Campaign section.

Moderators will not allow non-relevant "spam" to be posted for the sake of obtaining RP Points and will delete at their own discretion. Single-word posts are not allowed.
NOTE: The relevancy of all posts will be determined at the discretion of the Admins and Mods. Deleted posts result in a loss of RP Points to the user. Archived Posts and Topics do not effect RP Point balances. Not all Sections of the site provide RP Points.

Registered members can choose to donate specific amounts of their RP Points to other registered members by creating a new topic in this section explaining their reasoning for the donation and to whom they intend the RP Points to go. The Admins will approve or deny these requests and RP Point balances will be adjusted accordingly.
